Urgent Care Assurance Company RRG (UCRC) is the first and only medical malpractice insurance company dedicated solely to the urgent care industry.  This company was created by and owned by urgent care professionals and managed by insurance and risk management experts.  Formed under the federal risk retention act of 1986, the company writes malpractice liability insurance exclusively for urgent care physicians and owners throughout the United States.

Under Risk Retention Group (RRG) structure, all policyholders are stockholders in the company and entitled to share in underwriting profits and investment income.  Reinsurance protects the RRG for losses in excess of a defined layer of assumed risk.
